Kanpachi volume 2

Here is volume 2 of Kanpachi which includes chapters 17-28. I decided not to change anything so if you already have all these chapters, they will be the same as the ones included here except that I just added a cover for volume 2.

Kanpachi chapters 27-28

There are probably foods and animals you have never heard of in these chapters, so I uploaded pictures of them to get a better idea of them.

From left to right: Chapter 27

These two chapters conclude volume 2 of Kanpachi. I will do a quick check of the past chapters that make volume 2 and release it as a compilation after this shortly like I did for Volume 1.

Kanpachi chapters 25-26

Some extra notes for the chapter for the puns which I might start putting back pun info (When I release the volume 2 compilation). But for now...

-This is a picture of "horse dung sea urchins" or "Hemicentrotus puicherrimus." Apparently you can develop allergy symptoms from handling them for prolonged periods outside the water.



-"Spiritual Alter Ego Instrumentality Project" is a pun on the Evangelion line "Human Instrumentality Project."

-"I can't see the color of the XX, YY is -- 70% while XX is 30%" is a set line that originated from the movie "Battle of Okinawa." It has been used in a lot of manga and such, like "Aim for the Top (GunBuster)"

I will be working on Kanpachi chapters 27-28 next but I have to finish up a chapter of the FFVI doujinshi I am working on.

Sudden Childhood Friend (Ikinari Osananajimi ) chapter 3

Well, this chapter was quite eroish and had eroish innuendo, even for this manga. Anyway, this has yet to be serialized continuously as stated on the cover. I scanslated halfway through until I found some better quality scans which forced me to start over. I asked the person where they got them and they said they got them the same method as I did, (print screens) but had a high resolution monitor thus high resolution pages, so I chose to use them instead. So I give you an anonymous thanks to you for that.

Well, that means I finally got better quality scans for chapter 2. But since I am six chapters behind in Kanpachi and need to finish some FFVI doujinshis alomg with other stuff, version 2 will most likely be done later than sooner. Probably when a compliation is released similar to what I did with Kanpachi.

Here are some extra notes for this chapter:

-"Oniichan," in case you didn't know, is like a term of endearment here and does not mean an actual "brother." It means more like "Familiar boy friend." The same applies for "Neechan."

-"Tsuruzaki Scope" are special glasses worn by "Scope" Tsuzuraki in the manga "Prefectural Earth Defense Force" which can can see through objects.

-"Doping Consomme Soup" is from the manga "Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" and is a special soup mixed with drugs.

-A "Frankensteiner" is a wrestling move which was created by the wrestler Scott Steiner. Check some videos to see it in motion.

Kanpachi chapters 23-24

Well, I realize that is has been a while since the last release and you may have wondered what happened. Well, for one, there weren't any new scans of Kanpachi until two weeks ago. (More new scans have followed since.) And long story short, 95% of my PSDs, scans, and scanslations got corrupted. (Included a 150 page FF VI doujinshi I was working on. Got to page 40 something). Anyway, this is the second time I have done this. I haven't dropped this project.

Firstly, a couple notes to keep in mind while reading that I didn't include on the scanslation:

-"Nagiel" is probably a naming convention of using the Hebrew suffix "el" meaning "God" and Nagi's name. It also could be a pun on the Angels from EVA. Many of them had "el" ending names and the word Sango uses is the same word translated as "Angel" from the series though it means "Disciple." But since EVA got it from Christianity anyway, so I'll just say it has something to do with Christianity.

-This is a Pysco Gundam Pose (Right spelling)


Secondly, I will try to start on Ikinari Osananajimi chapter 3 after this. I got the scans about a week ago. I started working on it a little bit before it got erased. Anyway, I haven't drop this either. (I guess I should say I haven't dropped anything unless I stated I have.)

Butterfly- Fate-Stay Night doujinshi

This is another one I was in the middle of until I found out another group had scanslated it A WHILE ago. But since this was so short, I just decided to finish it anyway. (Also, I kept getting a 404 error from the download link on the host site so that gave me more incentive to finish it.) Anyway, here it is if you haven't read it already. This is a short Shirou x Sakura non-h one. This was the best (only) quality I could find for the raw.
